Wind energy. The memorandum on the start of feasibility studies in the field of wind farm construction was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum between NovaWind (Rosatom’s wind energy division), the Ministry of Electrification of Myanmar and the Myanmar company Primus Advanced Technologies Ltd. The agreement is aimed at the construction of wind farms with a total capacity of 172 MW in the Magway district. The parties seek to build a wind farm with a total capacity of 200 MW in the egion.
