Wind farm. Trunovskaya, Rosatom’s new wind farm in the Stavropol Krai, began to feed electricity into the Russian national grid. The aggregate capacity of Rosatom’s wind farms reached 1 GW, which is comparable to the capacity of a large nuclear power reactor. When completed, the Trunovskaya Wind Farm will have an installed capacity of 95 MW and consist of 38 wind turbines. This is the ninth wind farm built by Rosatom in Southern Russia. With 1.55 billion kWh of electricity generated for the first three quarters of 2023, Rosatom’s wind farms supplied power to over 570,000 households and prevented the emission of greenhouse gases equivalent to over 541,000 tons of CO2.
