Wind farms. Rosatom’s wind power division NovaWind has commissioned the third phase of the Kuzminskaya Wind Farm project. Located in Russia’s southern Stavropol Krai, the wind farm consists of 64 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 160 MW. This is Rosatom’s eighth wind farm in southern Russia, with another one – Trunovskaya Wind Farm – to be put in operation by the end of 2023. For the first six months of 2023, NovaWind’s wind farms generated 1.1 billion kWh of electricity, up 110 million kWh year-on-year, having prevented the emission of over 380,000 tons of CO2 equivalent for the same period.
