WYF.  On March 1–7, Sochi (Russia) hosted the World Youth Festival (WYF) with Rosatom as its general sponsor. Over 20,000 young leaders, including 10,000 people from all over the world, took part in the festival. Rosatom top managers took part in the WYF activities. For example, Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev gave a lecture entitled “Nuclear Technology for Sustainable Development”. He emphasized that 22 out of 25 nuclear plant construction projects worldwide were being delivered by Rosatom. Its exhibition booth located in Terminal T, the most innovative festival zone, featured the latest technology and solutions developed by the Russian nuclear corporation. Also at the WYF, the names of 15 festival guests who will embark on a summer expedition to the North Pole aboard Rosatom’s nuclear icebreaker were announced.
