Xudabao NPP. Atommash (part of Rosatom’s power engineering division AtomEnergoMash) has manufactured and shipped a nuclear reactor and four steam generators for the under-construction Xudabao Unit 3 in China. The total weight of the equipment is 1,700 tons. “Equipment production for China’s four reactor units is a cornerstone of Russia-China strategic partnership in the energy sector. We shipped the first set of equipment for Tianwan Unit 7 this April and have shipped a set of equipment for Xudabao Unit 3 today. In 2024, more equipment will be delivered to China for the next two reactor units of those nuclear power plants. The pace is fast but AtomEnergoMash will keep it up while maintaining the highest quality and safety of its products,” AtomEnergoMash CEO Igor Kotov pointed out. Rosatom is building Units 3 and 4 at Xudabao, and Units 7 and 8 at Tianwan.
