AES-2006 for Tianwan NPP

A branch of ROSATOM’s engineering company Leading Institute VNIPIET’s SPb AEP hosted a delegation of top executives from China. The delegation included representatives of the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and representatives of the Tianwan NPP design customer, Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation (JNPС). At the meeting, CNNC vice president Yu Peigen noted that China considered AES-2006 technology as a potential prototype for Tianwan NPP Units 5 and 6. At that, he especially underlined high quality of work done on Units 3 and 4 of the plant. 
Share purchase agreement
RAOS VOIMA OY, an affiliate of ROSATOM, and the Finnish VOIMAOSAKEYHTIÖ SF, the parent company of Fennovoima Oy, announced signing of a share purchase agreement, under which RAOS Voima Oy becomes the owner of 34% of Fennovoima’s shares. Now, Voimaosakeyhtiö SF holds 66% of shares. The cost of the deal is withheld. After the deal closure, the next step will be confirmation of the final decision on investing in the project by Fennovoima’s board of directors. The board meeting slated for April will also elect a new board of directors.
Pumps to deal with flood water to Albania
The Hungarian Ganz EEM (part of Atomenergomash, ROSATOM’s machine engineering division) supplied five pumps to deal with flood water to Albania. The most powerful pump of the batch, KKW-1400, is capable of pumping 4 cubic meters of water per second. The pumps will be installed at the pumping station Tale near Shkodra. The supplied pumps feature an option allowing regulating their prerotation systems during operation. Ganz EEM also was awarded an order for supply another four pumps to Albania’s pumping station Сas, intended for land drainage.
