According to head of the Department for Repair of Rovno NPP Nikolay Ponomarenko, this procedure worth special attention and should not be just studied but also implemented at Ukrainian sites. “In particular, the accounting of dose burdens of the personnel changes for the better, which is positive in terms of protection of labor and health of the plant staff, Ponomarenko emphasized. “That is why we decided to study the Integrated Work Order in more detail and in the exact place where it was worked out, i.e. at Kola nuclear power plant.” In future, the best practices of Kola NPP – electronic procedures for release of documents, formalizing work orders, accounting of dose burdens – will be reviewed and implemented as a pilot project at one of departments of Rovno NPP.
