This year ROSATOM plans to draft and sign a contract for development of the engineering design of Vietnam’s first nuclear power plant Ninh Thuan-1, which will be built to the Russian technologies, a draft annual report of ROSATOM for 2013 says. Late 2013, the work to justify the construction site for Ninh Thuan-1 and development of the project feasibility study was completed. The Vietnamese government gave its approval for drafting the contract for development of the engineering design of this plant and the contract for design of the construction base and on-site infrastructure of the nuclear power plant.
