Over its life the event has approved itself as the main communication platform for an affirmative dialogue between the nuclear suppliers and customers. The ATOMEX traditionally includes a specialized exhibition of products manufactured by the nuclear and allied industries. The participation in the forum gives a unique opportunity for the managers and specialists responsible for procurement and supply of the equipment to assess directly the achievements and main areas of development of the products for nuclear power, in the first place of the components for NPPs under construction. “The large-scale nuclear reactor construction program in Russia and abroad, which ROSATOM carries out today, provides many orders for the equipment and services to machine engineering and construction and installation companies; last year, the volume of competitive procurement in the sector exceeded RUB 500 billion,” Sergey Kirienko, head of the Corporation says. “The task of outmost importance for the further improvement of ROSATOM companies’ procurement activities is the construction of a transparent and efficient system of interaction with the organizations interested in supplies of their products to the nuclear industry enterprises,” he added.

It should be noted that in the recent years the forum has substantially expanded its geographical presence. Now, the ATOMEX-Africa, ATOMEX-Europe, as well as ATOMEX-region in different cities of Russia, are run every year.
