The equipment will be installed at Unit 3 of the plant under construction. The steam generator PGV-1000M is an oversized item. Its diameter is just over 4 m, height is 5 m, and length with loading tooling is about 16 m. Weight of the item with accessories is 378 tons. Therefore, it will be delivered to the plant by rail on a special transporter of 400-ton load-carrying capacity and 58 meters long (with the cargo). Steam generators PGV-1000M are designed to remove heat from the primary coolant and generate dry saturated steam as part of the reactor installation VVER-1000/V-428M.
