Power unit No.3 of Rostov NPP is at the stage of trial operation. This is the final stage of the complex of works on the NPP unit commercial commissioning. The program of the trial operation stage provides gradual increase of the power unit capacity up to 100% nominal level and completion of the complex of system and power unit tests in stationary and transient modes. The trial operation stage will complete upon successful tests at all utilized capacity levels (40% and 50%; 75%; 90% and 100%) and performance of delivery tests of the power unit. Approximate term of the power unit commercial commissioning is the third quarter of 2015.
