Among the participants were representatives of the Japan Radioisotope Association (JRIA), Nihon Medi-Physics, Fujifilm RI Pharma, e-Energy, Marubeni Corp. and Chiyoda Corp. The meetings marked the beginning of direct contacts between key players of the Japanese isotope market and Rosatom. The Isotope Regional Association (Moscow) was chosen as an official point of contact for potential partnerships. Now the parties have an opportunity to start substantive talks on supplies of Russian nuclear products, including vital Molibdenum-99, to Japanese partners.
