Rosatom is ranked No. 1 globally by the number of nuclear power reactors being currently designed, says the report by Atomproekt, a Rosatom Group company. According to the report, Rosatom’s portfolio as at the end of 2014 included 30 projects, or 41% nuclear power reactors to be constructed globally. Westinghouse, a US company, is the second largest nuclear plant designer accounting for 23% of the world market (17 nuclear power reactors). Korea Hydro&Nuclear Power (South Korea) is ranked No. 3 with a 16% market share (12 reactors), followed by Areva (France) holding 7% of the market (5 reactors).
