For the last decade, Russia has made a long, hard way, turning from a nuclear outsider into a major player on the nuclear technology market. Rosatom’s clear advantage is its integrated offering that comprises 3+ generation nuclear reactors, fuel supplies, end-to-end nuclear plant maintenance, spent nuclear fuel reprocessing, staff training, infrastructure development, legal assistance and flexible terms of finance. Export of nuclear technologies improves Russia’s reputation globally and offers new opportunities for the national industry. This is true that Russia will finance construction of the nuclear station in Egypt but Russian companies will earn twice as much as construction costs.”
