The commissioning of Belarusian NPP Unit 1 and Unit 2 is scheduled for November 2018 and July 2020 respectively, Chief Engineer Anatoly Bondar reports. “We are ahead of the schedule so the interval between the commissioning of Unit 1 and Unit 2 may be shorter than expected”, he said. Mikhail Mikhadyuk, Belarusian Deputy Minister of Energy, said in his turn that ‘large-scale equipment installation’ was scheduled for the next year. “Core equipment for Unit 1 will be delivered to the construction site in 2016, with the first components for Unit 2 to be shipped in the same year,” he stressed.
