Ukrainian Problem with Payments for Russian Fuel Solved

The country’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman announced that the court had unlocked Energoatom’s accounts and the company had renewed its operations. In late April, Rosatom stated that the seizure of Energoatom’s accounts might affect the schedule of fuel production and delay nuclear waste removal from Ukraine. However, at the end of June TVEL Vice President Alexei Grigoriev told reporters at the forum in Seversk that TVEL had been supplying fuel to Ukranian nuclear power plants despite suspended payments.
