The pilot 3D printer was developed by Rosatom’s Central Research Institute of Machine Building Technology in cooperation with the company’s research division. “This project unlocks Rosatom’s research and development potential and provides a solid foundation for further growth of the entire engineering sector. In the long run, development of metal 3D printing should substantially minimize production time and costs, as well as boost overall competitiveness of Russian companies on the global market,” explained Andrei Nikipelov, CEO of AtomEnergoMash.
