Most Powerful Icebreaker Ever

The bidding signals the beginning of a preliminary project phase. Unprecedented in the global shipbuilding industry, the icebreaker will have the highest icebreaking capacity. At a speed of 1.5 to 2 knots, the vessel will be able to force its way through 4-meter thick ice. This capacity is enough to escort ships in Western and Eastern Arctic all the year round.
