The IC system is central to ensuring safe operation of nuclear power plants and includes a process control subsystem, a normal operation subsystem and other subsystems to make nuclear plant operations reliable. In accordance with the contract, the systems will be delivered in 2018 for Unit 3 and 2019 for Unit 4. “Our Indian customer is well familiar with Russian-designed IC systems as they are used at Kudankulam 1 and Kudankulam 2. Our unparalleled solutions have proved to be safe, reliable and effective. Having a positive experience from our IC systems, our Indian colleagues want to have them installed at the new reactor units,” RASU CEO Andrei Butko noted.
