This is the first agreement of the kind as Rosatom has never offered foreign students an English-language curriculum before. Teaching nuclear physics in English will significantly reduce training time, while improving comprehension and memorization of sophisticated subjects. From now on, advanced Russian skills will not be a must for foreign students anymore. The new opportunity will significantly expand the geographic reach and attract much more students from emerging nuclear countries. Teaching nuclear physics in English can also make Russian universities more competitive in nuclear-related fields of study.
