Composites. Rosatom composite division Umatex acquired the assets of the Owens Corning group in Russia and Belarus. Umatex included enterprises for the production of fiberglass and insulating materials in the Vladimir and Tver regions, as well as associations in Belarus. Fiberglass is used as reinforcing elements of fiberplastic and other composites in construction and medicine, mechanical engineering and instrumentation, automotive and shipbuilding, as well as in energy and aviation.
