Cooperation. The head of Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev, met with the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjártó. The parties discussed further steps to implement the Paks-2 NPP construction project, as well as other aspects of comprehensive cooperation in the nuclear sector. Now, at the site of the future Paks-2 station, Rosatom is conducting preparatory work for the construction of auxiliary buildings and structures. The process of obtaining license documentation for certain types of work and equipment manufacturing is ongoing. The main license for the construction of the Paks-2 NPP was issued by the Hungarian regulator in August 2022
