Cooperation. The International Youth Festival 2026, with Rosatom as the general partner, has concluded in Yekaterinburg. The event brought together 10,000 young leaders from 191 countries. The Russian nuclear corporation hosted dozens of business, scientific, and cultural events. Rosatom’s international youth delegation included nearly 300 members, while the junior track brought together 79 school students from 28 countries. The festival also served as the venue to announce the results of three international initiatives. A total of 2,500 candidates competed for a spot on the Icebreaker of Knowledge 2027 expedition; four experts from Spain, India, Russia, and North Macedonia will travel to the North Pole aboard the 50 Let Pobedy nuclear icebreaker in 2027. The first six participants of the Atom 2050 initiative from Brazil, Indonesia, Lebanon, Russia, and Uzbekistan were also announced. Together with researchers and engineers, this team of 100 young professionals will develop scenarios for the advancement of nuclear and related technologies through 2050. In the final of Global HackAtom, over 80 students from 15 countries developed projects for the cities of the future.
