Hydrogen. Rusatom Overseas (part of Rosatom) and Air Liquide have completed a feasibility study for a hydrogen production plant on Sakhalin Island (Russia). The enterprise will become a part of a large-scale hydrogen cluster. Low-carbon hydrogen will be produced by steam reforming of methane using CO2 capture technologies. Rusatom Overseas said it was already negotiating with potential partners in Japan and Korea to launch an international hydrogen supply chain from 2025.
