ITER. Rosatom sent to France this year’s first batch of equipment for the ITER project. Three trailers with cargo weighing 33.4 tons went to the construction site of the international thermonuclear reactor. The delivery included the final batch of high-current current-carrying busbars, important for ensuring radiation safety of the installation, passing through the separating radiation barrier between the tokamak building and the diagnostics building, as well as components of the switching device complexes included in the power supply systems of the superconducting coils of the poloidal field and the central solenoid. Overall, it is planned to send to France about 50 trailers with various equipment for power supply systems with a total weight of over 400 tons in 2023.
