Logistics. TransContainer (part of the Delo Group, 30% owned by Rosatom) has launched a new multimodal service between Russia and Turkey. From now on, export cargo arriving by rail in Russian Novorossiysk will be sent to the Turkish port of Mersin. The service also works in the opposite direction. Shipments from Novorossiysk and Mersin will be made twice a month. The transit time on sea is six days. The first 120 containers sent from Novorossiysk have already arrived in Mersin. The new service will complement the existing multimodal routes of TransContainer from Novorossiysk to the ports of Istanbul and Samsun and back.
