The height of the reactor building is 60.5 m. “Installation of the internal containment dome is one of the key events scheduled for 2022. Last year, we carried out similar work at the first power unit, and this time the pre-assembly of the dome took 56 days less. As soon as both parts of the airborne zone are welded together, the concreting of the dome will commence,” explained Alexei Deriy, director of the Rooppur NPP construction project.
