Research Reactors. Rosatom sent equipment for the IPR-R1 research reactor in Brazil. The equipment was manufactured at SNIIP (part of Rosatom), it is designed to control the neutron flux of the research reactor. The equipment is used in the control and protection system. It was developed taking into account the use of existing neutron detectors of the reactor, so the set of equipment consists only of electronic means for converting signals from detectors, means for processing, displaying and recording. Next April, Russian specialists will put the equipment into operation at the site.
