Rooppur NPP. Two ships under Russian flag arrived at the port of Mongla in Bangladesh with a cargo of equipment for the construction of the Rooppur nuclear power plant. The total weight of the cargo exceeded 1,900 tons. The cargo was sent to the station construction site by road. Rosatom is constructing two units of Rooppur NPP with VVER-1200 reactors, their total capacity will be 2400 MW. About 16,000 specialists work at the construction site.
