Builders have begun pouring concrete into the foundation slab of the turbine building at the construction site of the Akkuyu NPP Unit 4 in Turkey. 450 workers and specialists are involved in concreting with the work being carried out in two shifts. The total area of the foundation slab is almost 6,000 square meters. At the same time, welding of the main circulation pipeline was completed at Unit 1. The procedure requiring welding 28 joints lasted 68 days.
