With its commissioning, the total installed capacity of our company’s wind power plants in operation has exceeded 1 GW,” said Grigory Nazarov, CEO of Rosatom’s wind power division Novawind. By 2027, Rosatom will put a total of about 1.7 GW of wind capacity into operation. The share of low-carbon power generation in the Russian energy mix has reached nearly 40%. This percentage is expected to rise over the long term with further expansions in wind and nuclear power generation.
