Wind Power. Rosatom and Vietnamese An Xuan Energy signed an agreement on cooperation in wind energy envisioning a wind farm with a capacity of 128 MW in the north-western Vietnamese province of Son La. “We have gained extensive experience as a developer of wind energy projects in Russia and are ready to apply our competencies abroad. Rosatom is already implementing a number of projects in Vietnam in energy and science, and now these areas of cooperation are expanding,” said Grigory Nazarov, Director General of NovaWind (Rosatom’s wind energy division). “This project will bring social and economic benefits to Vietnam and its energy system as well as the population of the province. In cooperation with NovaWind, we intend to ensure the commercial operation of the facility as planned,” said Nguyen Quang Luan, head of An Xuan Energy.
