Armenia approved a draft agreement with Russia concerning a state export loan for financing service life extension of Armenian NPP

Minister of Finance Gagik Khachatryan who is cited by the Armenian media said the funds would be spent “for repair and upgrades of the second reactor of Armenian NPP in 2014-2018.” The loan is provided for ten years at an interest of 3% with the maturity to start on January 15, 2019.
