IPTP has manufactured equipment for the Sakhalin I

back to contents

The project is aimed at developing oil and natural gas deposits Chaivo, Odoptu and Arkutun-Dagi in the north-east shelf of Sakhalin Island. The operator is the U.S. company ExxonMobil (30%). Other project partocipants of the deposit development consortium are Rosneft, the Indian ONGC and the Japanese SODECO. Specialists from IPTP designed gamma-emitters for the project needs. The equipment measures density of the drill fluid pumped out of the well and identifies the medium, which runs through the pipelines: whether it is clean rock or natural gas or oil.
