The Dutch company cooperates with ZiO-Podolsk based on the license agreement signed in 2009. As of today, the heat-recovery steam generators for combined-cycle gas turbines of PGU-190 type for Novomoskovsk HPP, PGU-420 type for Yuzhnouralsk HPP-2, and PGU-400 for Nizhnevartovsk HPP. The boiler plant for Verkhnetagilskaya HPP combined-cycle gas turbine is at the stage of completion.

During this visit, the heads and specialists estimated the results of their joint work, shared the information on the most promising heat-recovery steam generator market directions, and discussed new opportunities for partnership.

According to the meeting participants, the most promising cooperation in the medium term will be the development of small and decentralized power sector towards small power heat-recovery steam generators. In this field NEM Energy b.v. and ZiO-Podolsk see way for further cooperation and effective use of the cutting edge technological resources of both companies.

Apart form that, based on the jointly achieved results, the representatives of two companies have agreed to consider the possibility to expand cooperation into the markets of CIS countries and other promising overseas markets.

ZiO-Podolsk is specialized on production of high-technology heat exchange equipment for nuclear and thermal power industries, as well as for petrochemical and gas industries. It is one of the major Russian companies engaged in design and supply of nuclear equipment. All nuclear power plants built in the Soviet times are fitted with equipment produced by ZiO-Podolsk. The nuclear power plants in Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, East Germany, Finland with VVER-440 and VVER-1000 reactors are fitted with ZiO equipment as well.

Today ZiO-Podolsk is one of the largest power machine building companies of Russia. Its production range includes moisture separator reheaters, high pressure and low pressure heaters, for steam turbine reheating system, district heaters, heat exchangers for different purpose, ion exchangers, filters and de-entrainment filters, units, piping assemblies and supports, tanks, removable heat insulation, evaporators, reactor vessel metal control system, and other equipment for nuclear power plants. The equipment produced by ZiO-Podolsk is used in more than fifty countries all over the world.
