Novovoronezh NPP impressed experts with scale
back to contentsIt included experts of TÜV SÜD – a leading global audit, inspection and certification company – as well as members of the Bangladesh and Ghana nuclear energy commissions, who are currently enrolled in a training course at Rosatom’s Central Institute for Continuing Education and Training.
“The people at NNPP have a very responsible attitude regarding nuclear power generation,” said Sinan Özdür, TÜV SÜD representative. Mr. Özdür, an expert in nuclear power, emphasized the high level of safety at the power station, particularly at the units under construction. He did not rule out the possibility that the visit may serve as a starting point for a successful partnership. “I appreciate this approach to safety very much; it certainly has piqued our interest in cooperation,” he said and admitted that he was “amazed with the scale of the power plant.”
