Rosatom Completed Engineering Division Restructuring
back to contentsRosatom has completed restructuring of ASE Group, its engineering division engaged in design and construction of nuclear power stations. ASE Group comprises NIAEP (Nizhny Novgorod), AtomStroyExport (Moscow), AtomEnergoProekt (Moscow) and AtomProekt (St. Petersburg).
According to ASE CEO Valery Limarenko, the renaming of NIAEP marked the completion of a large-scale effort to restructure ASE Group into a leading player of the nuclear design and construction market.
“Our primary strategic goal is to increase our global market share and retain leadership. ASE brand is well known internationally as AtomStroyExport has been constructing nuclear stations for decades. This brand is trusted worldwide, which is very important in our industry, and we decided to change the flagship company’s name to ASE EC. This is the brand we are going to use in our global expansion projects,” Limarenko was quoted as saying.
ASE Group is a global leader in nuclear engineering and takes 30% of the global nuclear construction market. Its representative offices and branches operate in 15 countries. Nearly 80% of contracts in its portfolio cover overseas projects.
ASE Group specializes in design and construction of large capacity nuclear stations, nuclear research centers, research reactors, nuclear waste and spent fuel management facilities, and thermal power stations.
