The event was attended by heads and specialists from over 40 companies in Russia as well as scientists from India, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. They delivered more than 75 papers on topical issues of development of innovative designs of nuclear reactors with lead, lead-bismuth, sodium and gaseous coolants; research reactors; small power generation; SNF and RAW storage facilities; as well as innovative solutions in the field of water-water reactors. Features session discussed objectives and proposed solutions to key problems of innovative projects and technologies development. These include innovative designs of nuclear power installations, research reactors, nuclear fuel and new structural materials, closed fuel cycle technologies, SNF and RAW management, technological solutions to weapons-grade nuclear material nonproliferation, integrated computer codes of the new generation for safety analyses of nuclear power reactors and fuel cycle.
