ZiO-Podolsk Becoming Honeywell Supplier

back to contents

Honeywell is engaged in the construction of chemical and oil processing plants across the globe, including Russia whose national market is of interest for the company. The American major views ZiO-Podolsk as a potential petrochemical equipment supplier to domestic and internationals markets and a probable production site for its equipment.

In June, Honeywell representatives made their first visit to the facilities of ZiO-Podolsk. At a meeting with the management of ZiO-Podolsk and ZIOMAR (another subsidiary of AtomEnergoMash, Rosatom’s engineering division), they were demonstrated the plant’s production processes, technology and competencies in the field of petrochemistry. After the meeting, the foreign colleagues had a tour round the plant to have a detailed look at the finished products and watch the production in action.

Honeywell’s representatives were satisfied with the visit and gave a positive assessment of production capacities and technological potential of ZiO-Podolsk. The plant passed the primary audit and was accredited by Honeywell.
