On June 26, the third annual International Youth Nuclear Forum, Obninsk NEW, will take place in Obninsk, Russia— the site where the world’s first nuclear power station was put into operation on the same date in 1954. This year’s forum is themed as “Dream and Create the Global Nuclear Industry Future!” Participants will discuss current challenges and opportunities in nuclear technology, the role of nuclear energy in achieving sustainable development goals, the importance of international cooperation, and other topics.
