Rooppur NPP. Rosatom’s Research Institute for Instrumentation Engineering (SNIIP) shipped components for the lower- and upper-level instrumentation and control (I&C) systems to be installed at Rooppur Units 1 and 2 in Bangladesh. These are control channels for the automated radiation monitoring systems, which are designed to measure volume activity of emissions, radioactive inert gasses, and iodine. The control channels are made in the form of stands, a solution developed specially for the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant. In addition, about 300 individual dosimeters and a set of filter holders will be shipped to Bangladesh by the end of the year. Rosatom is building a nuclear power plant with two VVER-1200 reactors in Bangladesh.
