The prerequisite of success was the constructive interaction of three functions: accounting, HR department and information technology department.

To meet all requirements
The quality management system of the Central Design Bureau of machine Engineering (CDBME, part of Atomenergomash, ROSATOM’s machine engineering division) meets all requirements of Paks NPP (Hungary). The plant’s quality department carried out a qualification, which findings evidence that control, performance, monitoring and skills of CDBME staff meet the international standards. The qualification scope included design and manufacture (including with the use of materials and documentation of Paks NPP) of assembly units of reactor coolant pumps (Safety Class I and II) and peer review activities.
Batch of valves for Unit 1 of Novovoronezh NPP Phase II
ARAKO spol s.r.o. (Opava, Czech Republic, part of Atomenergomash, ROSATOM’s machine engineering division) shipped off a batch of valves for Unit 1 of Novovoronezh NPP Phase II. Tomáš Ondera, ARAKO commercial director, noted: We were awarded the order for supply of special cut-off valves for pipelines of Novovoronezh II Unit 1 and Rostov NPP Unit 4 in August last year. The valves for Russian nuclear power plants made up the largest share of the company’s sales last year. I hope we will continue supplies this year as well. Already in March we signed a new contract for supply of about 500 valves for Novovoronezh II Unit 2. A total cost of the contract is CZK 80 million.
