Efficient Solution
back to contentsThe specialists of this company have been designing and producing high-tech equipment for NPPs for more than 40 years. High-speed turbine plant will be deployed at the Ninh Thuan project – the first Vietnamese nuclear station. The 1000-1200MW high-speed turbines for NPPs is the Sylovie Machiny plant’s invention, meant for AES-91/92 and AES-2006 power units with advanced safety and reliability. For today 1200 MW turbines are the strongest high-speed steam turbines in the world. There are new solutions and technologies applied during designing and production, taking into consideration the experience received while making turbines for the Kudankulam NPP (India) and operating those at the Tianwan NPP (PCR) and Kalininskaya NPP. Plants like Novovronezh NPP-2, Leningrad NPP-2 and Belarus NPP are being constructed using modern high-speed turbine plants by Sylovie Machiny.
At the Hanoi seminar the specialists of the company presented to their Vietnamese colleagues production capacities of the plant as a producer and supplier of complex solutions for power energy on the whole and nuclear industry in particular; shared their experience of designing and operating high-speed turbines for NPP; told about advantages of turbine island with a turbine set based on a К-1000-60/3000 high-speed steam turbine of their own design.
“The Sylovie Machiny plant has a big positive experience in design, producing and supplying turbine units for NPPs built upon Rosatom’s projects both in Russia and abroad’. Modern production capacities offer a really high-quality and economically effective solution for turbine island for future NPP, – says Stanislav Archipov, Director for Nuclear Energy of the Sylovie Machiny plant. – During the meeting our specialists told our clients about advantages of our high-speed turbines and their production technologies”.
The seminar was attended by: heads of EVN power company, representatives of main branch of Vietnamese power energy, of Ministry of Industrial Trade, Atomic Energy Insitute, Nuclear and Radiation Safety Administration (Vietnam) along with representatives of the RF trade mission in Vietnam, who had offered their support and help to Sylovie Machiny while organizing the event.
