back to contentsThe head of MFA Sergey Lavrov had a meeting with his Iranian colleague Javad Zarif and President Hasan Rouhani in Tehran. The parties agreed in many important points, such as agreement for Iranian nuclear program and Syrian reconciliation. Sergey Lavrov said he was fully satisfied with the result of negotiations, the main topic of which had been the realization of provisional arrangements concerning Iranian nuclear program achieved on November 24 in Geneva. “Everything is fixed on paper and the arrangement has to be fulfilled both by Iran and the “5+1” group. First of all by those, who, avoiding the UN Security Council had introduced unilateral sanctions in Tehran”, noted Mr. Lavrov.
Natalia Vladimirovna Nikipelova was appointed Senior Vice-President, Finance, Economy and Corporate Management, TVEL JSC. In 2009, Natalia Nikipelova worked as General Director of Hedging of Companies and Corporate Governance company (Khedzhirovanie Obshchestv i Upravlenie Kompaniyami) in Smolensk; and from 2009 until 2013 – as Director of Economic and Financial Affairs at MSZ JSC (town of Elektrostal). Natalia Nikipelova holds a Ph.D in Economics; she has written two course books for students of the economics universities, over 40 research papers on corporate finance, budgeting, issues of a company’s investment activities, investment projects appraisal, and on business value management. She belongs to the Rosatom Legacy personnel reserve. In November 2013, she was awarded the People of Rosatom Award in the Leaders Teach Leaders category.
Rusatom Overseas, Rosatom’s promoter abroad, and Department of Engineering of The University of Buenos Aires, held a conference as part of an exhibition dedicated to Russian nuclear technologies. The topic discussed was importance of nuclear energy for Argentina and its potential. They also presented an innovative mobile attachment “An NNP model with the elements of augmented reality”, designed by Rusatom Overseas. The exhibition was organized in frames of an agreement signed between the Department of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires and Rusatom Overseas.
The future employees of the Akkuyu NPP are learning Turkish language with Rosatom special program. Today there are groups for 8 people; the classes take place in the Akkuyu NPP office in Moscow twice a week, in the morning and in the evening. The teacher is a native speaker, so the students can feel verbal environment better. Studying Turkish culture and language will maximally reduce the possibility of misunderstanding while working on site.
During a meeting of the Russia-Belarus Union State Council of Ministers last Friday, Russia and Belarus, in the presence of head of governments of the two countries, inked an agreement to cooperate in using and developing the Russian Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS). Another agreement signed concerned early notification and information exchange in the field of nuclear and radiation security, a cooperation agreement in the sphere of aviation search and rescue.
