To perform this task, Rusatom Service will engage an expert team from the Polzunov Power Machinery Research and Development Association (Saint Petersburg). It will analyze, assess and calculate the remaining operational life of structures, systems and components related to the plant safety and power generation. The new contract is part of the second phase of the Kozloduy Unit 5 service life extension project.
